The Year 8 football team continued their superb form with a 5-1 demolition of Tomlinscote on Monday 23 November.

The Year 8 football team continued their superb form with a 5-1 demolition of Tomlinscote on Monday 23 November.  The boys started brightly and most of the first half was played inside the Tomlinscote half.  Just before the break the boys made their possession count with Jakob Carl scoring to put us 1-0 up.

Into the second half the boys upped their game to pile on the pressure which resulted in 4 more goals.  In particular there was some fine team play for the third and fourth goals with a lot of boys involved.  The boys kept possession well on a very cold afternoon and looked comfortable throughout the game to finish 5-1 winners.

The Year 8s have continued to improve over the season and are developing nicely into a formidable force.  Next, we play our second round of the County Cup at home to Riddlesdon on Tuesday 1 December.
