Year 6 Girls' Cricket tournament

Collingwood students have been attending training sessions with Surrey Cricket Board to become kwik cricket young leaders.

Collingwood students have been attending training sessions with Surrey Cricket Board to become kwik cricket young leaders.  On Friday 13 June our students were umpires and scorers for a Year 6 girls’ tournament at Camberley Cricket Club.  Following the tournament, the Junior Chairman at the club wrote to me with these kind words:

Dear Miss Robinson

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say what a credit your Young Leaders were to the school on Friday.

All of them, without exception, were polite and well-mannered throughout the afternoon and completed their responsibilities in exemplary fashion.

Without them the day would not have run as well as it did and I want to say thanks on behalf of the club and also the schools that took part.

Kind regards

Julian Hagger
Junior Cricket Chairman
