On Wednesday 11 March Collingwood staff were challenged to take part in a Comic Relief Bake Off.

They were asked to make a choux pastry-based product suitable for Red Nose Day.  The products had to have an even bake, be of regular size, original in design and presentation, as well as have a wonderful taste.  The staff were organised into teams, based on the Faculties within the College.

The winners were the Admin Team, Mrs Bocutt and Mrs Moody, and joint second place went to the Humanities Faculty represented by Miss Evans and Mrs Jones and the Maths and Science Faculty represented by Mrs Trapnell and Mrs Griffiths (Co Principal).

On Red Nose Day (Friday 13 March), during registration, students were able to watch the exploits of their teachers in a video of the bake off and donate any loose change they had to Comic Relief.

All staff who took part in the bake off enjoyed the activity even though some pairs had to remake items in true bake off fashion!
