Jenny Benson - 8 A*s / 2 As

Jenny will be returning to Collingwood to study AS in Art, English, Biology and Physics with a view to possibly studying English at UCL.

“Collingwood has been a great school for me and I’ve had some smashing teachers. Am I allowed to say that Miss Weinrabe has been fabulous? If I had any advice for students coming up through the school I would say - work hard at everything and don’t be afraid to ask any question. Someone has always asked it before you.”

Chantelle Fearn - 4 A*s / 3 As

Chantelle also achieved A* in RS and A in Core Science in Year 10 and a B in French in Year 9.

She is planning to study Biology, Physics, Chemistry and one other subject to further her ambition to become a doctor.

“I have been up since 6 o’clock and was really nervous, but I am really pleased and thanks to all my teachers for lots of help”.

Estelle Rice – 2 A*s / 9 As

Estelle had dashed back from the Reading Festival to pick up her results. After just 2 hours sleep she said, “This year has been the best, and I’ve made really strong bonds with my teachers and other students. I have worked hard and got what I needed. I worked in a Graphic Design company for work experience week and I want to study something arty at university”.

George Boughton - 6 A*s / 3 As / 1 B

“I will be studying Geography, History, Biology and German at Collingwood. It’s been a really good, enjoyable year and the results say it all.”

Fran Davis - 4 A*s / 7 As

“I want to study dance after my A level in Performing Arts. I have loved Collingwood so much and I am gutted to be leaving!”.

Harry Dunsmuir – 6 A*s / 4 As / 1 B

Harry also achieved an A* in Maths and A in RS in Year 10 and A* in French in Year 9.

“I thought it would be more stressful than it was and I got a lot of support from school. I want to study something Maths-based at university – Cambridge if I can”.

Olivia Fahy – 4 A*s / 3 As / 3 Bs

Olivia will be studying English Literature, History, Drama and Communications & Culture at Collingwood next year.

“It has been hard waiting for the results, really stressful. It has been an emotional year, but the best. I want to go to university to do something media related. I want to work in the creative arts industry”.

Jason Finch – 2 A*s / 8 As

“The thing I am most pleased about is my Physics because I want to do A level. I want to study Automotive Engineering at either Cambridge or Bath”.

Olivia Norris – 7 A*s / 4 As / A in Additional Maths

I am going to study English Literature, Drama, Maths and Biology at Collingwood. I would like to go to university to study English”.

Esme Southern - 11 A*s / A in Additional Maths

Katie Wells - 5 A*s / 4 As

Katie will be returning to Collingwood to study English, Biology, German and History. She hopes to go to university to read English.

Oliver Webb – 9 A*s / 1 As / A in Additional Maths

Oliver also achieved 1 A* in French in Year 9 and an A* in both RS and Maths in Year 10.

 

“I have been really helped and supported by my teachers. I worked hard and kept calm and got the results I wanted. I want to go to Uni to do something sciencey”.

Jessica plans to study Biology, Maths, Computing and either Chemistry or Geography.
