'Strictly The Revue' is a Huge Success

Last week (17 and 18 October) our 6th Form Revue proved to be a great success as our students performed to friends, family and staff.

On Thursday 17 October and Friday 18 October our 6th Form students REALLY put on a show as the ‘Revue’ unfolded.

A large group of our students showed their creative flair as a variety of sketches and performances were put together. A great deal of hard work, from the backstage, lighting and sound crew to the cast and performers themselves, culminated into two extremely enjoyable evenings.

During the evening many talents became apparent through performances by vocalists, instrumentalists and comedians!

Over £2000 was raised from the two performances and, as a result of four students going through the agony of having their legs waxed (namely Alfie Sargent, Kadri Gordon, Charley Ramsey and Matthew Hutchinson), a proportion of these funds will go to the 6th Formers’ chosen charities, Stonewall and the British Heart Foundation.

Many congratulations to all involved in this annual event which is enjoyed by staff, students and parents alike.
