Year 8 Students Receive 'Highly Commended' for NHS Careers Competition
Three Year 8 students are highly commended for their entry in NHS careers competition.
Earlier in the year n-gage 8 students were tasked with exploring different careers within the NHS and then preparing presentations and careers literature to promote their chosen occupation. Over 1660 students entered the competition and three Collingwood College students Jonathan Quin, Scott Burrows and Callum Sutton (all from 8C) were highly commended for their entry which looked at the role of a Pathologist.
The competition proved very popular this year and the judges were very impressed with the high overall standard of entries to the competition.
Congratulations to Jonathan, Scott and Callum for their innovative and excellent work.
