Years 10 and 11 Boys' District Athletics Success

Collingwood boys dominate athletics events at district championships.

We should be proud of our Key Stage 4 Boys!

Wednesday 2 May, avoiding torrential rain, saw the Key Stage 4, North West Surrey School Sport District Athletics Championships at Sheerwater Athletics Track take place.

Toby Nowell came third in the Boys 800 m with a time of 2:17, Oliver Joint dominated the Boys High Jump achieving 1.85 m narrowly missing out on 1.90 m, Owen Heard ran away with the Boys 100 m hurdles with a time of 14.01, Joe Foster won the Boys 100 m race at 11.22, Thomas Handley smashed the Boys 200 m race at 23.20, Luke Mann leapt to second place in the Boys Long Jump at 5.78 m and the Boys Relay Team (Owen Heard, Thomas Handley, Oliver Joint and Joe Foster) ended the evening beating 8 other schools across 2 finals.
