Physical Education
Our Physical Education curriculum is designed to promote physical health, mental wellbeing, and a lifelong love of sport and physical activity. We aim to develop confident, resilient, and respectful individuals who understand the value of teamwork, leadership, and personal challenge.
We offer an inclusive and engaging curriculum that supports all students - regardless of ability or background - to enjoy being active, improve their fitness, and achieve their personal best. Through a broad range of sports and activities, students build physical competence, tactical awareness, and a positive attitude towards healthy living.
By the end of Key Stage 4, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate skill, control, and tactical understanding across a range of physical activities
- Understand the principles of training, fitness, and healthy lifestyles
- Work effectively as individuals and as part of a team
- Reflect on performance and set goals for improvement
- Appreciate the role of sport in society and its impact on wellbeing
Our intent is to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to lead active, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
