Business & Economics

Our Business and Economics curriculum is designed to develop students’ understanding of the world of work, enterprise, and the economy. We aim to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to make informed decisions as consumers, employees, entrepreneurs, and global citizens.

We offer an inclusive and practical curriculum that encourages all students to think critically about how businesses operate, how economies function, and how individuals and organisations respond to change. Through real-world case studies and applied learning, students develop commercial awareness, financial literacy, and problem-solving skills.

By the end of Key Stage 4, students will be able to:

  • Understand key concepts in business and economics, including markets, finance, and enterprise
  • Analyse business behaviour and economic issues using appropriate tools and terminology
  • Evaluate the impact of decisions on individuals, businesses, and society
  • Apply knowledge to real-world scenarios and case studies
  • Communicate ideas clearly and persuasively in writing and discussion

Our intent is to prepare students for further study, employment, and participation in a dynamic and interconnected global economy.
